Requirements

Qualified candidates are licensed by state boards of cosmetology. Qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, be motivated and be able to work independently. They also must possess a professional appearance and a professional attitude. They must work to ensure their clients are satisfied so that they will become repeat customers. They work to build a relationship with customers and guide them toward other services or products they offer.

 

*Portfolios are highly recommended at time of interview.

 

Core Skills

• Current state Nail Technician or Cosmetology license

• Basic computer skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends and skills

The hired nail technician will also be part of our mobile service. They must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation. Client services include nail, hand and foot services. Mobile nail techs must keep up to date with the latest products, techniques, and trends.

Mobile nail techs examine and evaluate the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on proper nail care. They must be familiar with diseases and disorders of the nails as well as all safety procedures and techniques for performing nail services. They use sterilization equipment and must know how to properly sterilize and sanitize their tools. Mobile nail techs ensure safety procedures are followed while performing manicures, pedicures, and waxing.
